TANAH TORAJA
Why do people choose Toraja land as a destination? We have spoken to many travelers, while in Sulawesi (Celebes) and they all seemed to say the same things. They had arrived in Sulawesi (Celebes) and the study of Toraja land, either because they had heard such wonderful things from friends or relatives who had been there or who had previously visited themselves. There is a village that almost all of the residents make crafts based copper and brass in our small town, near the village where I was born, called Tumang Village.
This crafting early from production of household equipment like boiler, pot, pan etc. which its raw materials is copper plate, brass or aluminium. This effort walk hereditary which is there's only one in Indonesia
So far, the production of copper have represented one of the outcome of the masterpiece of society Tumang where this swan song have rounded into the industrial home as of society economics.
Copper, brass, and aluminium crafting yielded for example : water fountain, matting, bathtub, bowl, Jar, Calligraphy, hang-desk-stand lamp, mirror frame, relief, sink, furniture and utensil, and many more.
This crafting can be used as a home interior design, construction, mosque, church, etc. As well as decorative media, crafting this brass copper is functional also as such must its.

When you spend the night in Yogyakarta while enjoying leather puppet show, you feel alive. The melodious rhythm of the gamelan in harmony with the voices of women singers will not let you sleep. Bandung is the capital of West Java in Indonesia. Bandung is 180 kilometers southeast of Jakarta. Despite having a population of over two million the pace of city life is slower than Jakarta. Today Bandung has a population of 2 million people, Bandung area is estimated that 4 million. Bandung is located on a plateau 768 meters above sea level with a cool climate all year round. Bandung is the most European city of Java. The rainy season starts in Bandung a little earlier, then the rest of Indonesia. Normally, the rainy season in Indonesia is from October to May, the peak of the rainy season is in January. The dry season is from June to August, the temperature is 25-30 degrees Celsius during the day.
